How to make rice with vegetables

How to make rice with vegetables


  • 1 and a half cups of rice
  • 3 cups of vegetable broth (you can use water too)
  • Half medium-sized onion
  • Half carrot
  • Half zucchini
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ¼ of paprika
  • ½ cup of green peas
  • A piece of leek stem
  • 1 chive stem
  • 1 medium tomato
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil


Chop all the vegetables in small cubes. Garlic crushed very, very small.

Heat a deep frying pan or a paella pan and fry the vegetables in this order: garlic, onion, carrot, paprika, tomato, zucchini, Leek and chives Add a teaspoon of salt and a pinch of pepper.

Let it sauté for a couple of minutes and let out a little juice.

Add the cup and a half of rice, Mix well and add the green peas and 3 cups of water.

Stir a little and let it boil.

When the water starts to dry and there are only bubbles on the rice grains, lower the heat to the minimum and cover your pan.
