Recipe of pork with honey and soy
I have said before that honey and soy are great allies. They work perfectly as a couple and are capable of beautifying any meat. Even some vegetables like aubergines benefit from this beautiful mixture:

Imagine then what can come out of mixing honey, soy, pork and peanuts. Ha!
Better not tell you more. We go with this recipe, which is very Asian (Chinese to be precise) and therefore I recommend the accompaniment only with white rice.
Recipe of pork with honey and soy
For this preparation I used artisan honey, this way I was sure that it was 100% natural, not like those supermarket honeys that put sugar on them and lose some of their real flavor.
Peanuts are important in this recipe, do not omit them unless you are allergic and you die if you put them on.
Ingredients:
- ½ kg of pork loin
- 4 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of wine vinegar
- A fist of roasted peanuts
- Fresh coriander
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation:
Chop the pork in strips or cubes, whichever you fancy the most, and add salt and pepper to taste.
Heat vegetable oil in a wok or deep frying pan and sauté the pork until golden brown. Make sure it is well cooked but that it does not burn or dry out.
Once the meat is ready, reduce the heat to half and add the honey, vinegar and soy sauce. Mix well and let cook another couple of minutes.
Turn off the heat and add the ground peanuts with a mortar and pestle and chopped cilantro with the same hands.
You can serve it as in the photo, you make a bed of white rice, on top you put the pork and then the peanut and cilantro.
